Our subject matter will be still life, with an emphasis on florals.
Elizabeth will do demonstrations daily and students will paint from
their own still life set ups. We will learn about the importance of
shapes, how to see what we are painting in a new way, how to improve our
compositions, the importance of temperature change, edges, finding our
own voice in our paintings, and why there is beauty in simplicity. To
enrich the learning experience, participation will be limited to 16.
Workshop Dates: October 24^th , 25^th , 26^th2014: 9:00 am-4:00 pm
daily (With an hour for lunch)
Workshop Location: Buckmaster Studio: 2617 W. Stewart, Puyallup WA.,
near Tacoma and Seattle.
Cost: $400.00 (Includes Workshop, Still Life Materials (flowers &
fruit), Beverages & Snacks)
Registration: $100 deposit. Enrollments will be accepted in the order
the deposits are received. Thereafter, a Waiting List will be maintained.

account or your credit card, pay in person in cash, or mail a check.
Your deposit is non-refundable. However, if Elizabeth Robbins or Frances
Buckmaster, host, cancels the workshop for any reason, any fees
deposited or paid will be refunded.
Registration Fee Balance Due by September 8^th , 2014. If not
received by that date, the deposit is forfeited and the person at the
top of the Waiting List will be allowed to enroll in this opening.
*Lunches: Optional *A buffet - Large variety of sandwich makings,
fruit, veggies, salad -- at $45 for three days. Order the buffet by
including this fee as part of your registration balance. Alternatively,
feel free to bring your own lunch.__
Supply List, Local Transportation and Housing Information: Upon
receipt of your Registration Deposit, we will email you this
information. Easels, side-tables, lighting, shadow boxes, and still life
materials will be provided. All other supplies are the responsibility of
the students.
Parking & Accessibility: There is ample on site free parking. The
studio is located on the first floor, with three steps up to its porch.
A ramp to the porch can be available.

/Elizabeth Robbins was raised in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah and began
painting in her 20's. Now, with her children grown, she enjoys the
freedom to devote full time to her art, with a focus on floral still
life. Her work is in private collections throughout the United States
and in the Ella Dunnegan Museum in Bolivar, MO.. Elizabeth is a
Signature Member of "Oil Painters of America," a Signature Member of the
National Oil and Acrylic Painter's Society, and a Master Signature
member of the American Women Artists. Her work has been featured in Art
of the West, the American Art Collector, Southwest Art, and the American
Artist magazines./
