It is time for the 14th Annual Maritime Art Exhibit at the Harbor History
Museum. We are looking forward to viewing this year's entries and I'm sure
our juror will have another difficult decision to make! If you haven't

14th Annual Juried Maritime Art Exhibit. Deadline to enter is June 21, 2013.
Exhibit opens July 20, 2013. All artists entering through
OnlineJuriedShows.com are invited to the special artist reception, Friday,
July 19, 2013 beginning at 5:30 pm. Prospectus is attached.
Painting Workshop...
This year we are offering a painting workshop, led by guest juror Kathy
Marin Collins. The workshop is Friday, July 19, 10 am to 4 pm (same day as
the artist reception).
Workshop cost: Harbor History Museum members: $90, non-museum members: $95.
The workshop will include morning and afternoon demonstrations by Kathy as
she shows you how to create simple, yet powerful impressionistic watercolor
paintings using her technique for rapid-process painting. Limited to 15
participants.

Kathy grew up in the Pacific Northwest and expresses her appreciation of
the area's natural beauty through her work. By charging in color and mixing
flowing wet paint right on the paper, Kathy achieves intense dark values
while preserving white spaces.
Her award-winning paintings have been juried into shows nationwide and
featured in Watercolor Artist, American Artist, and The Artist's
Magazine publications, as well as the Splash-Best of *Watercolor *series.
She is a signature member of the Northwest and Montana Watercolor
Societies, and Women Painterrs of Washington. her work will appear in the
book 100 Atists of the Northwest this year. Visit
