Press Release * * *LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS** * *Tacoma, WA*- Tacoma Little Theatre is proud to continue its 94th season with* Little Shop of Horrors *directed by Maria Valenzuela; book and lyrics by Howard Ashman; music by Alan Menken; based on the film by Roger Corman. A down-and-out Skid Row floral assistant, Seymour, becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon “Audrey II” grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised for global domination! * * *Little Shop of Horrors* will run Friday, May 3, 2013 until Sunday, May 26, 2013.
